The Bank of Spain presents its projections for the Spanish
economy and the Valencian Institute of Finance analyzes the financing
needs of Valencian companies at a conference in Alicante
The
Director General of Economics and Statistics of the Bank of Spain,
Ángel Gavilán, presented this morning at the institution's
headquarters in Alicante the macroeconomic projections of the Spanish
economy for the period 2023-2025. Likewise, Ángel Gavilán has analyzed
the structural challenge represented by improving the productivity of
Spanish companies and the factors that can contribute to achieving it,
specifically access to financing.
The conference-colloquium
was also attended by the General Director of the Valencian Institute
of Finance and President of the Reciprocal Guarantee Society of the
Valencian Community, Manuel Illueca, who made a presentation on the
importance of commercial credit in the financing of companies in this
Autonomous Community and the challenges and problems they face in the
current regulatory context.
During their stay in Alicante, the
delegation of the Bank of Spain headed by Ángel Gavilán has maintained
contacts with representatives of the administration and prominent
members of the business, financial and university world of the
province.
