The Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (Privacy Commissioner), Ms Ada CHUNG Lai-ling, attended the Briefing for Facilitation Measure on the “Standard Contract for Cross-boundary Flow of Personal Information Within the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area (Mainland, Hong Kong)” (GBA SC) organised by the Digital Policy Office on 10 December and gave a presentation. The Privacy Commissioner introduced the terms of the GBA SC and the relevant requirements under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance to attendees coming from various sectors. She encouraged enterprises to adopt the GBA SC for cross-boundary transfers of personal information within the GBA.
