Privacy Commissioner Delivers Keynote Speech at 2024 China
Cybersecurity Week Macao Sub-forum
The Privacy Commissioner
for Personal Data (Privacy Commissioner), Ms Ada CHUNG Lai-ling
attended the 2024 China Cybersecurity Week Macao Sub-forum (Sub-forum)
on Personal Data Protection on 12 September and delivered a keynote
speech. The event was co-organised by Macao’s Cybersecurity Incident
Alert and Response Centre and the Personal Data Protection Bureau.
The Sub-forum was one of the events of the 2024 China
Cybersecurity Week organised by the Cyberspace Administration of
China. At the Sub-forum, the Privacy Commissioner provided an overview
of the latest trends of data breach incidents to the participants,
highlighting recent data breach cases in Hong Kong and overseas. The
Privacy Commissioner also explained how to adopt proper security
measures to strengthen data security.
